I began writing this story in 2004, but I was unable to complete it then because I did not know how to end it. I waited years for the moment in which I felt I finally had the maturity and clarity needed to be able to represent in these characters some of our most significant inner battles.

Comencé a escribir este cuento en el año 2004, pero no lo pude terminar entonces porque no sabía cuál sería el final. Esperé años para sentir que en un momento dado tal vez poseía la madurez y claridad necesarias para ver encarnadas en estos personajes algunas de nuestras batallas internas más significativas.
